I am a PostgreSQL contributor and co-organizer of PostgreSQL Ukraine User Group, as well as Senior Developer and Expert at Cybertec. I am the author of pgxmock library and scheduling solution for PostgreSQL written in Go called pg_timetable. Also I am a maintainer of pgwatch2 monitoring solution.
In this talk, I will introduce pgwatch, the mature open-source PostgreSQL monitorint solution. We’ll start with the basics: how to install and configure pgwatch to monitor your PostgreSQL instances effectively. I will walk you through its key features and demonstrate how it can help you track performance, detect bottlenecks, and optimize your database operations.
We’ll also compare pgwatch with some existing monitoring solutions, highlighting its unique advantages and use cases. I look forward to hearing your questions and thoughts during the session. Whether you’re new to PostgreSQL monitoring or already familiar with other tools, this session will offer valuable insights and spark an engaging discussion.
